Arun Kanchi, President and Chief Executive Officer
Arun Kanchi is an IT veteran and the founder of ExaFort. Kanchi brings more than 20 years of a wide range of experience in software development, professional services and IT management. He provides vision and direction for the company which brings exceptional and innovative services to organizations that require IT to respond to demanding and changing business. Kanchi is a true Entrepreneur with abilities and proven track record in building strong and successful companies. He is a technologist and business strategist with an exceptionally creative mind.
Prior to ExaFort, Kanchi served as the CIO of Force10 Networks where he built a strong IT organization to support a fast paced, hi-tech organization and a technology leader that provides the reliable infrastructure required to build and secure intelligent services networks. It was at Force10 as a CIO Kanchi realized the need for a different kind of IT to evolve with the Cloud Computing paradigm shift that formed the basis for founding ExaFort.
Kanchi received his integrated engineering undergraduate and Masters degree from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India.
Shri Chickerur, Vice President, Professional Services
Shri Chickerur is a technologist and innovator with over 18 years of IT business systems and process experience. As Vice President of Professional Services, Shri is responsible for successful delivery of innovative cloud based services. He brings rich experience in conceptualizing, managing and delivering process and technology solutions to complex business problems at large enterprises.
Prior to Exafort, Shri was at McGraw-Hill managing large scale commercial and operational transformation initiatives – involving cloud application and platform technologies, business process management, customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Before McGraw-Hill, Shri was with General Electric where he led service delivery teams, managed business-wide ERP implementations, and led New Product Introduction programs. GE has certified Shri as a Lean/Six Sigma Master Blackbelt. Shri began his career at Infosys Technologies as a Business Systems Analyst working with large enterprises like Xerox, AT&T and Nortel.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Nagpur University, India and MBA from Santa Clara University, Santa Clara, CA.
